We have a deep desire for students to connect, share life and form relationships that are deeply rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. In an effort to integrate middle and high school students into our ministry model, we offer Gospel Alliances specifically designed for 6th-12th graders.
What are Gospel Alliances you may ask? Great question. For where CrossPointe is now, we believe that having adult lead mini-groups (3-6 people) that are gender specific would be the best strategy for our current context and size. It’s in these groups that we hope to develop caring relationships, have fun, eat some food, drink some coffee, talk about life and Jesus and how we all can center our lives around Him.
These groups will meet 3 times a month on Tuesdays. Caroline Mercer will be leading our girls (grades 6-12) from 6:30pm-7:30pm at the Starbucks by Publics on HWY 54. As for the guys, Jason Poeffel will be leading another group of guys (grades 6-12) at the Starbucks in Kroger on Crosstown road on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for an hour. As far as content, we will be discussing the sermon from the previous Sunday.
It all starts TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 5th!!!!!
In addition, we plan on monthly community building events where all our Gospel Alliances will come together to hang out and have a blast.
It's going to be an amazing year. If you have any questions or if you're interested in a CrossPointe Student Gospel Alliance, please email .
